2 days ago · To adjust the headlights on a 2006 Avalon, follow these steps: Park the car on a level surface facing a wall or garage door about 25 feet away. Locate the headlight adjustment screws. On the 2006 Avalon, these screws are located on the upper and lower inner side of each headlight assembly, accessible from the engine bay.
Adjust the horizontal tapes on the screen in order to match the horizontal centerline of each low beam headlamp. Measure the height from the floor to the center of the low beam. Turn on the low beam headlamps. Observe the left and the top edges of the high intensity zone on the screen.

Step 3: Level the car. Push down all four corners of the vehicle up and down a few times to settle the suspension and make sure the shocks are level. Step 4: Measure the lights. Use the tape measure to measure from a fixed point on each of the headlamps down to the ground.
